 “Michaela,

I was very pleased that you wanted to use the pictures I sent, on your web
site. Because of your wonderful DVD, I will be able to re-do our entire
bathroom counter tops. I am in the process of redoing my husbands bath and when
finished will have one more to go. (At first, he told me I was not ‘touching’
his bathroom. )  When I finished with the first bath, he changed his mind.
You have saved us thousands of dollars. The project is fun and
rewarding. Thanks for being so creative and enabling others to share in
your knowledge.”

“Hi Michaela,

Thanks so much for all of your help.
I’m very happy with the results.  My old countertops were in good condition.
I was just tired of the color and needed a change.  Your
video/instructions were the perfect solution. Thanks again!”

”I desperately wanted to update our kitchen without involving a huge
and costly remodelling project.  One day I was searching the Internet for
ideas to change our countertops.   Then I came across Michaela’s web
site.  I ordered the video but was somewhat sceptical that I could make
Michaela’s technique work for me.  I’m not an artist and I was unsure that
I would get the results that I hoped for.  I followed the technique on the
video and the countertops turned out great.  They dramatically change the
look of our kitchen.  Everybody that has seen them can’t believe they are
painted and many are about to try this technique for themselves.  I am so
happy with the results! Thanks.”

This

Another great story from
realtor, Steve Kerestman: See before/after pictures.

“We
had the home in the commercial listed for quite some time and we were having
interested buyers look every week.  To the point it seemed almost
repetitive; Showing-feedback-and no offers!!!

Then
the Sellers talked about having this “new” look in the kitchen where
they could change the entire look of it by simply painting the counters with
the Countertop Transfauxmations process!  I was excited because when you
are trying to sell you home, one of the most important ‘money’ rooms is the
Kitchen.

This
was an invaluable and inexpensive project that resulted in getting this home
SOLD within weeks of having the counter tops
done!!! I would recommend this to everyone and anyone trying for a new look
without the major expense of replacing all of your counter space!”

“Countertop Transfauxmations is
wonderful!  The process changed the look of my whole
kitchen.  My home was for sale for just over two
years! Visitors continuously complimented my decorating and said that
I had a beautiful home.  My husband remodelled the whole
house and the only thing we didn’t do was the kitchen
counter top. They were solid blue Formica and kind of stood out but I
never thought that they were holding us back from selling the house… until I
changed them! (See commercial)

After
I completed the countertop makeover, my kitchen looked like it had
new counters made of granite. My
house sold a couple weeks after we completed the
process.  We even had multiple bids on our home!

Now that I have my new
dream home, I’m ready to use the process again in our new kitchen and
one of the bathrooms.  Anyone can change their kitchen as this is
process sooo easy, and inexpensive!
If you make a mistake or don’t like the color that you picked you can easily
change it.  If you’re bored and want to redecorate, go grab the paint and
renovate your counters! This is AWESOME!”

Thanks!

My name is Brad Allen. I am a faux painter.  My
samples of counter top transfauxmations painting procedure are painted
over actual laminate, and they are as strong and tough as the laminate
itself.  It seems impossible to peel it or nick it even with metal
tools. I would feel very confident putting it over any countertop.  Also
her DVD is so detailed that it would be easy for anyone to do.

“In January, 2003, I
decided to have my counters refinished in faux marble. We have the holiday
dinners here and use the kitchen as normal and they’ve held up. I’m extremely
happy with my ‘marble’ counters and at a reasonable price too.” Marianne,

Hi.
Here are some before and after pictures.

We bought your DVD followed the easy instruction’s and in just a few days, we
turned our outdated kitchen into a gem.  When people see the difference
they have one word to describe it……WOW.

Thanks for a great product.

You have a great idea and we would be happy to help you promote it.

”I have a huge kitchen with about 39 linear feet of counter space. I decided to
paint my counter tops in a granite look after
purchasing and watching your DVD. Tomorrow I will put my first coat of finish
on, but I am already ecstatic about how
beautiful my countertops are. Thank you so much for making your DVD. It really
helped me understand each step and took the fear out of trying such a thing
!!”

I have a 1961 kitchen.  The laminate counters were white with aqua stars
all over.  It was very outdated, but still in good condition, so when I
heard about Countertop Transfauxmations, I was very excited to try it
out.  I chose a brown that would go with my cabinets, and I wanted the
counters to be darker than the cabinets.  I added some lighter browns as
well as occasional spots of navy blue.
The video and instructions were so easy to follow, and I was able to find all
of the supplies without a problem.  Even my eight year old son helped with
the countertop painting.  My whole family is very happy with the
transformation of the kitchen!

Thanks again,

Deborah

“I fell
in love with Michaela’s process when I saw her counters. Now, our kitchen has
been transformed from ‘Blah’ to ‘AWESOME!
’ It was speedy, no mess and
clean. We cannot stop looking at our new counters. ” Chuck and Suzie, Ohio 2004

“Michaela,

I am finishing the sealing on my kitchen counter – I’m stunned at the transformation. I had a forest green laminate
counter that was absolutely awful, so I did my base coat in a soft cream and
rag-rolled the same soft beige as the walls are over it. The effect looks (to
me) a bit like a Tuscan stone and I’m tickled over it. I did it in secret and
when my boyfriend came over last night and saw the finished “finish”
he was stunned. I still need to do the pass-thru and the short counter on the
other side of the stove, but I’m blown
away by how easy it was and how it literally transformed the look of my kitchen
for less than $100. Sweet!”

Al Ritter

I had purchased a condo at the beach, and the kitchen was
HORRIBLE! With melamine cabinets and an ugly beige countertop, I knew I had to
do something, but didn’t want to spend a goldmine! I stripped the cabinets and
repainted them white, put on new stainless handles, and then faux finished the
countertop after purchasing your DVD. I’ve never done any faux finishing of
anything before but this project has given me the confidence to redo even the
living room furniture!

Thanks for your help,

Al Ritter

PS…a contractor came into the
condo, and he was drawn right to the countertop, with his mouth hanging open he
finally asked…….”that’s not paint is it?”………….lol……..he
said he had to get within ten feet to know it wasn’t stone!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased and amazed I was with the
results I got from your process. Everything came out so beautifully. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Michaela,

I got so excited about doing my bathroom counter, that I
forgot to take a before picture. It turned out great, very easy, and Fun!!!
However, now that it is done, I see that I should have used a brighter white
than I did. What should I do to try again? Do I sand the new finish down to the
bonding primer layer? Should I just sand to rough it up a bit and then follow
the four step process again? Do I need to let it sit for a few weeks and then
try again? The finish is absolutely beautiful; it’s just that the white is not
quite bright enough. It was not a problem with the process, just a mistake on
my part with color selection. Thanks for your time.

Dennis & Gerry

This is how Dennis and I spent most of
the 4th of July weekend. It started with a new stainless
steel sink. The old one was an old porcelain sink (double). As with most
double sinks nothing would nicely fit in, except maybe a sauce pan. After
installing the sink the counter tops really looked bad so we decided to update
them. As we just finished putting siding on the house and having the interior
of the house painted, the house budget was shot.

So I decided we should paint them. Dennis went on line and
found this video that would explain just how to do the Faux
finish and promised that help was only a phone call away. (Dennis actually did call the help line and
was helped by the Michaela Harbert, the person that made the video!).
Have a
great July
